People Just Like You (2025)

People Just Like You is a documentary video art piece constructed from footage captured by various CCTV cameras, showing streets named after Vladimir Lenin. The voiceover consists of excerpts from eight political speeches delivered in court by different generations of political prisoners in Russia and the Soviet Union (1937–2024). When combined, these voices create a powerful, intergenerational statement, revealing a continuous thread of resistance, dissent, and the human cost of political repression across decades.
